PRIVACY POLICY
Xtraktr is built by Kilo Loco LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep it short because that's the point.
// WHAT WE COLLECT
Voice & Transcription
When you speak into Xtraktr, your audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework to produce a text transcript. Audio is not stored or transmitted to our servers. Transcripts are stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your iCloud account.
Conversation History
Your extraction sessions — including your messages and AI responses — are stored locally using SwiftData. If iCloud sync is active on your device, this data syncs across your devices via your personal iCloud account. Kilo Loco LLC does not have access to your conversation content.
AI Processing
Follow-up questions are generated using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework (Apple Intelligence). Your conversation data is processed locally on your device and is not sent to Kilo Loco LLC or any third-party AI provider.
Subscription & Purchases
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Kilo Loco LLC never receives or stores your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all payment processing.
Usage Data
We store a session count locally on your device to determine whether you've reached the free tier limit. This number is not transmitted anywhere.

- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs or tracking libraries
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties
- We do not store your voice recordings or audio files
- We do not have access to your conversation content
// MICROPHONE & SPEECH RECOGNITION
Xtraktr requests access to your microphone and speech recognition to convert your spoken ideas into text. You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone / Speech Recognition. Revoking access will disable the core voice capture functionality.
// DATA STORAGE & DELETION
All your data lives on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud). To delete your data:
- Delete individual extractions from within the app
- Delete all app data by uninstalling Xtraktr from your device
- Remove iCloud data via iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage
// CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Xtraktr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
// CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
